I watched the preview on VOD. It looked pretty good. I may have to check it out...though I expect to be disappointed. Hopefully there will not be gay hobbit action.

No I don't see there being as much faggotry in this as the Hobbits had. It should be a fun fantasy romp. C.S. Lewis is pretty solid. I hope the director, producer, screenwriters didn't shit on his work.

Gay Hobbitry!?! Anyway. Yes hopefully hollywood showed respect and actually did research. The Previews look quite nice. I've read TLTWaTW as many times as i've read the lord of the rings and almost as much as i've read Dragon Lance, so i'm pretty well psyched for this film. I wonder if they will do all of the books, like they're doing with the whole potter legacy?
Again i apologize for not posting as TheAl, however my computer hates me.

Hopefully it will be better than D&D The Movie.

Did you catch the D&D movie that SciFi put out? It wasnt bad. course the part where they buried there fallen comrade instead of taking a part of his body back to town to have him resurrected was wrong..But overall not a bad movie. Much better than the hollywood version.

It was better in that it didn't suck as much. Both movies were done to be DND commercials first and movies second, thus, they tried to cram every aspect of DND into them. Then of course there was the acting and the SFX, but fundalmentally, the scripts were shit.

Where did the h come from? I assumed it was the standard spelling. Anyhoo, my original statement stands. Fuck centaurs.

Look centaur cavalry or archers would be nigh on useless in the conventional offensive sense. A charge of heavy horse/ mounted knight with heavy lance would skewer them.
Give me the Game of Thrones in a film by God.

Yeah, but weren't they short of humans in the story? You gotta make due. Like in ID4, you think we WANTED to use F-18s?
Besides, I think Centaurs get attack bonuses against "The Damned".
