Just wanted to make a reading recomendation to all of my fans out there. Check out the trade paperbacks or back issues of the Garth Ennis Dc/Vertigo series Preacher. It is the best nonsuperhero comic book I have ever read. I cannot recomend this highly enough.

Little "boi" go away. If you had an clue or even anything to add to my site beyond your pathetic attempts at flaming I would welcome you. You bore me. Did I steal your "gf"? Possibly. Did i do it because I personally dislike you and your kind? No. In fact I have championed the skate park so that your kind would have somewhere nice to go. If you want to talk bad about me fine. But, find something new besides you stole my "gf" or Pat likes to walk over little people. I think everybody who knows me or comes to this board already know that well.

He has referenced an Avril Livigne song title as his Username and is upset that someone "stole" his girlfriend?
That must have been some kind of hiest.
Dude, she wasn't stolen...she's hiding.

Not reading Y-the last man, but I am reading Brian Vaughn’s other book with DC Ex Machina, its under the Wildstorm imprint. The TPB for the first 6 issues just hit last month, and issue #8 is on the stands in February, I recommend it highly. As for 100 bullets, I bought the first year and a half of it, dropped out due to my local shop closing/messing up my orders, water over the bridge, beer on the floor, some adage like that. 100 bullets was good while I was reading it, the same guy is writing Superman with Jim Lee art, finishing up a 12 issue run. Now, I suggest Arsenic Lullaby to all folks, its and independent book and only comes out about 6 times a year but is worth it. the URL is www.arseniclullabies.comIf your reading preacher, then hell is nothing to fear at this point.

I am sad and disgusted that you decided to use the death of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as a "funny" thing you couldn't resist, "too easy to pass up"? Maddening, a person of your abilty and purpose could spread the goals of such a great man, as opposed to taking an easy swing at him. Please, Please, Please read up on him, you have the entire internet at your disposal, and obviously are more capable of working it than most, including myself. I'm not angry, and don't mean to preach, but there's a lot of serious stuff going on right now, and we need people like you helping, not riding the fence or encouraging the war mongers. Feel free to email me about this, I really think you were just joking, but I can't stand it when those that could make a differencve make a joke. No hard feelings, I want to help, not preach. cklrgh@aol.com

I am unsure what this is about. But I would like clarification of what you mean by "warmonger."

Frankly I do know about Dr.King and respect all that he did. But frankly I am a bad person who does not take life seriously and therefore I have no problem making light of the situation. Oh and I don't just encourage warmongers I am a card carrying member of their little club.

I picked up the third Preacher trade and the first Y trade. I never knew non superhero comics could be so good. Still looking for Arsenic Lullaby. Might I recommend that you all tryOutsiders for a semimature superhero book.

ARSENIC LULLABY may be a BIT hard to find issue to issue unless you have a file at comic book shop. If you hit the web page you can order the TPB for $25. Well worth it, I have most of the issues and several pages of original art from the series. Warren Ellis has the best quote about the humor in the book, "God help me, it made me smile". I also recommend Invincible from Image, very good superhero book, and you cant go wrong with a writer who's first ongoing was called "Battle Pope". Strange as it is, this was not by John Baird.......
