I have returned to a project that I had placed on the back burner a few years ago. This is the first time I have ever let anyone see a working treatment, but I am looking for input on the story so what am I to do. Read the below posting and post back your ideas about what happens next. Remember this is going to be worked into an outline and then into a screenplay. The first two the the three are done this is the last one. So lets see what you get, if I use your idea in whole I will credit you when I register the script with WGA.

Beer, couches and dirty laundry
Opening on an interior of an apartments bed room, we see a horrid mess of dirty underwear, empty beer bottles and upturned furniture. Past all of this is a door opening into a hall way where men are moving boxes in and out of a different room. The camera moves down and over to show a cell phone lighting up as it vibrates on silent mode, a led blinking as if a hundred voicemail messages are in need of being heard. We seen Bo and Steve talking, discussing the filth that Rodney has left his room in, debating the point of who is a bigger slob Pat or Rodney. Realizing that Rodney had not been seen in almost a day, Bo points out that Steve and himself would need to put dibs on the worthy possessions in the room in the event that Rodney was dead. Both men pick threw the stuff when one notices the phone, pick it up and seeing the number is caller ided as one of his on call skanks he tosses back onto the bed. Soon after Al walks into the room and announces that all of his stuff is out and he is getting ready to get on the road. Bo and Steve shake hands and do the “man hug” with there friend before he gets going after graduating and heading off to do his first year of pharmacy school. After a brief conversation notes that all is still well as Earl will be around the rest of the summer, as he is not going to law school until the fall, but is still moving out of the house. A door at the far end of the hall opens as Pat stumbles out and down the hall. Pat ducks into the bathroom and closes the door. Al calls out to him asking for the fan to bw switched on. Many noises emanate from the room, none of them that of a fan. Al screams about matches, Nazis and the Geneva convention. Pat comes out and walks up to Al, Steve and Bo. Speaking he asks where Rodney is. No one seems to know, Al mentions the cell phone. Pat points out that Rodney is never without his phone. At about the same time the cell phone in Rodney’s room rings. Pat walks into the room and starts tossing the underwear and bras out of the way until he finds the phone. Answering it he is greeted by a frantic and desperate sounding Rodney. Rodney begins spinning a tale of being held hostage until the car his last nights booty call, Sydney, is driving is returned to her husband. Ryle, Sydney’s husband gets on the phone and tells the guys that if they ever want to see Rodney alive they have to get the car back to him. Al looks at the others and announces that he needs to get going. Steve and Bo cry for him to not abandon them. Al retorts about having no time for man whores, and is off. Pat farts and ask what should be done? Bo comments that the three of them should help him. Steve voices the opinion that Rodney is a louse and would be better of for society if he were dead. Bo agrees but questions where the other part of the rent would come from. Pat refuses to get a job and agrees that Rodney should be saved from death, this time. Take the phone back up, Pat realizes that it has been on speakerphone and that Rodney is screaming his head off about being messed over by Pat and company. Pat sooths him by telling him it was a ploy to try and throw off his captor. Rodney seems to be fine with this and settles down. Rodney recounts every thing to them. Bo suggests calling Dave and seeing if there is a chance that she is checked into a hotel some where. Pat asked how that could be done? Bo picks up a shopping bag from the floor and pulls a receipt from it. On the receipt is a credit card number. Points out that Rodney gets lots of gifts from his skanks. Pat points out that being a man whore may not be all that bad. Steve laments about fat and ugly women. With that Pat, Bo and Steve head off to see Dave. Arriving at Dave’s place they are greeted at the door by a hand and a disembodied voice asks what they want. Bo explains what’s going on and gives his several different card numbers. The hand takes them and tells them to come in. Bo and Dave speak for a little bit as he uses some computer equipment and gives Bo a bit of paper and sends them on there way. Steve asks how much that little bit of a felony cost them. Bo tells them it cost nothing, he let Dave keep the card numbers. Pat deems it a good deal. Steve drives them to the first of thee hotels that are currently rented under the card numbers. They pull up in front of a very low rent kind of no tell motel. Bo gets out and walks into the office and collects the information about what room the credit card was used to rent. Walking back to the car Steve suggests Pat should go to the room and discover if the skank is the skank that they need. Steve and Bo move the car to make a fast getaway, and talk about sending Pat to do the job. Bo points out that the card is in a man’s name, same as the room. Steve points out that Rodney didn’t seem gay. Bo dismisses it as being a fluke. In the distance Pat is seen pounding on the door, as it opens Pat bursts into the room. Bo and Steve keep having a very normal discussion on a very normal topic. After a little bit a chair is seen flying out the window. A woman runs out of the room wrapped in a sheet as black smoke starts to leave the room. A few seconds latter a dog runs out and fire laps the top of the door way. A fire truck pulls up along with a cop car. Bo and Steve note the excitement and agree to get ready to leave, as a man runs from the room with a fireman. Pat emerges from a second floor room with a toilet seat around his neck. Pat runs to the car and jumps in. Taking the toilet seat from around his neck he relates what happened in the room. After reveling in the humor of the situation Bo and Steve realize that Pat smells of the stuff he climbed out threw. They run him over to a car wash where he is pressure washed clean of the unmentionable muck he is covered in. With his clothes unwearable. Pat is told to change into some cloths that Bo has in this guy bag in the trunk of the car.
