Please, refer to it as "megafarce," And don't dignify it by capitalizing the first letter.

From what I hear he should have them smashed so he can't reproduce, and have his spawn crawling upon the earch, but back to the subject on hand. I really like the directing style of Battlestar Galactica. He get's his message across so clearly even when annyoying when they were pursued every 30 minutes by the Cylons. The fact he can draw everyone in so well is a credit to him.

Who is the "he" you speak of? Barry Bostwick? Or the director?

The new BSG really seems to be winning some of the old fans over. The best part is no Boxxy and no stupid robot dog. The worst thing is that Boomer is no doubt evenyually going to betray them. I was a big fan of the Herbert Jefferson Boomer.

Is it me or in the prior episode of BSG they said the Cylon detection test took 11 hours. Well in the episode prior to that the doctor tested Boomer, and the test could of not reasonably took that long. I'm definitely not the type to be overly analytical, but that stood out glaringly. They should have worked the story more carefully.

I knew it was a painfully long process, and whether it was several hours or eleven, it didn't take that long for Boomer. Who knows though with Baltar and Six? I think this may be the first discrepancy that's appeared in the the plot that holds some weight, but given the consistancy elsewhere, perhaps they will address it later.

I don't believe that a hole in the plot exists. Remember that Baltar, to Six, admitted that the he did not have a detector. The 11 hour issue could have been him simply building in an excuse as to why his device is not working. Think of this as alchemical books from the middle ages, with processes and instruction so complex as to push off why a process did not work. The fact that it worked has me thinking that Baltar has a deeper subconscious that wants to make up for the betraying his entire race thing. The question I have is how the Cylons are organized. Are the Cylons little more that highly evolved termites, or is there individuality allowed to form. If so are there factions with in the upper management of the Cylon culture? Like the Clans in BT?

Well, there are 12 models of Cylons. The types are up for debate. I am sure Derrick will throw his two cents in, but apparently Cylon culture(down to the Centurions) is something that the producers want to be explored in future issues. We know that the humanoid models are fanatically religious, bent on inheritance, paranoid and jealous of humans, and philosophically convoluted. Such traits can cause irrational behavior in them than we saw in the old "By your command" series.
I believe the 12 models consist of the 4 humanoid models(Derrick differs somewhat on this assertion), 1 Raider class, 1 Centurion class, the Toasters(old series Cylons seen in the museum exhibit during the new miniseries). It's logical to assume the Base Ships are another model...although with the recent revelation that the Raiders are partially organic might cloud this a tad. That gives us 8 models, and the jury is still out on the hovering craft above Caprica City that were hunting Helo. I can't tell if they were Raiders, but they resembled the hovering vehicles Skynet used in the T films.
Possibly we have as many as nine models the viewer has seen, leaving by my count 3 to be revealed.
If Derrick is correct and the humanoids all count as one model with four makes, then that leaves quite a few more options, including humanoids we haven't seen before(Tigh's wife)...still, fans would have to think it fortuitous if not downright fishy that a XO on an obsolete Battlestar was worth having his wife copied for infiltration. Perhaps a general humanoid model that can be tailored to the specifics? The questions boggle the mind.
