I don't mean to be a dickhole, but I am not on the edge of my seat about this one. I did not research it to see if EA is using the same engine they did in C&C Generals a few years ago, but if so, don't waste your money on it.
I bought Generals which was the first C&C title after Westwood sold the franchise to EA, and I was VERY disappointed. It's layout was very different than Westwood's, the feel was entirely different and the music was a non-factor. It was bulky, clumsy, and contrived...in a word: unplayable.
I was angry and hurt that the magic was gone. If Westwood's C&C was "Star Wars", EA's was "Space Conflict".
If anyone would like to borrow Generals, I think I still have it in the same box of junk I threw it in after the third mission three years ago. I can mail it to you in a non-descript brown paper bag...un-jeweled, of course.

Agreed Generals sucked ass. I'm playing Red Alert 2 currently.

EA did to C&C what 989 Studios did to Twisted Metal if you'll recall the 3rd installment. The original studio came back for TM Black, and of course it kicked much ass...like Loverboy playing the Meadowlands.

Maybe we'll get lucky.
