For years I was a Marvel Zombie. When I got back into reading comics a few years ago I decided to pick up some of my old favorites (Avengers, the X-books, etc.) With the exception of Geoff John's Avengers I was sorely disapointed. I saw where Geoff was writing JSA for DC as well. I was never a DC fan except for the Giffen/Dematties JLI, but I've always had a soft spot for the Golden Age JSA characters so I figured what the hell. Now with the exception of the Ultimates and Ultimate Fantastic Four I read no Marvel Books on a regular basis. On the other hand it seems like I'm reading most of the core DC line. They have the some continuity that made Marvel so great in the 80's and up through the early 90's. If any of you are wanting to read some good stuff DC is gold right now.

Im a big fan of Marvel though I like a few DC's books. My favorites are all the X-Titles and the X-Men spinoff the New Mutants

Astonishing X-Men is outstanding. The other X titles are pretty solid too. I miss Marvel sometimes but right now DC has the majority of my attention.

I agree they (DC) are kicking but in the movies which has led to good writers and artist working for them and now they are producing some great comics.
