I think the only people who can't be mind controlled are the cosmic beings and people with battle fury.

Yea that Jade is probably the cheapest GL team ability in the game.

Stopped in at Family Video and bought a box of Icons. Scored the Veteran Superman out of it. It also had a Veteran Robin, who has a decent dial for 65 points with stealth, outwit, and willpower on his first click. His 10 attack makes it possible for him to actually have a decent chance at hitting someone as well. Also had an Exp Wonder Woman and an Exp Changling.
I have bought 3 boxes of Icons now and gotten a Vet Darkseid, a Vet Wonder Woman + Exp Supes, and a Vet Supes + Vet Robin + Exp Wonder Woman out of the 3.
Family has Icons, Fantastic Forces, Collateral Damage, Hypertime, Armor Wars and Xplosion. They are actually a little cheaper than Steve since they charge a flat 8 bucks tax included. After taxes Steve is charging a little over $8 and other places are charging $7.99+tax which puts them near $9 a box.

Bought a box of Fantastic Forces at FV today. Got a unique Wolverine out of it. The one with the 12 attack and BCF. He said he could get Legacy but that he would have to charge $12 a booster for them. I told him they were cheaper than that in Oak Ridge.

I got a box of Fantastic forces and got a limited edition Reed Richards, a Veteran Doctor Strange, and a Ghost Rider. One interesting thing is Ghost rider is a transporter to. I read up on them that they can carry only one person, and can't carry anyone that flies. I was disappointed in this. I need to track down a GL. I got two other boxes and got a limited edition Simon williams, and a Nightmare. I can't seem to get the heavy hitters like Nimrod.

I opened a case of Fantastic Forces and didn't get a Nimrod. He must be fairly rare.

I bought another box of Icons at Family today. It had yet another Vet Superman in it, as well as a Vet Bizzaro, Vet Scarecrow, and a Vet Starfire. I think that is the 1st time I have gotten 4 Vets in the same box. Let alone with two of them being 200+ point characters like Vet Supes and Vet Bizzaro.

I found this interesting twist to start the game off with. I'd like to try it out sometime.
Mind Switch
A bizarre, personality-altering ray bathes the entire battlefield. Characters suddenly act like other characters. The duration of the effects lasts for the entire battle. At the beginning of the scenario, each side rolls 1 six-sided die and applies the effects to his force.
DIE ROLL RESULT WHAT HAPPENS
1 Your least expensive character gains the Leadership ability for the duration of the battle.
2 If one of your characters has an arch-enemy on the map, the arch-enemy rules do not apply. If none of your characters has an arch-enemy, assign an arch-enemy to one character.
3 Give all characters on your force 1 click of damage.
4 All characters on your force without a team ability gain the same team ability (player chooses one ability).
5 All characters on your force with a team ability lose that ability.
6 Your least expensive character gains the Outwit super power for the duration of the battle. Do not use that character’s team ability for the duration of the battle. If more than one character has the same point value, you choose who is affected.

Bought a box of Collateral Damage at FV today. Got a Unique Ambush Bug, Superman Blue, and a Dr Midnite rookie that is actually a pretty darn good medic for 24 points. He has stealth and smoke cloud, so he can't be hit by ranged attacks when he isn't healing.

You have got to trade me for Ambush Bug. I love that character. I bet he doesn't do much in the way of damage if he is like his comic self. Have you read the Ambush bug books I have John?

He isn't much for damage but he does have outwit and probability control alternating on his dial. Yeah I read all the Ambush bug stuff you had. I'm sure we can work out some kind of trade for him.
